A tour for those looking to push further, harder and for longer. The Hokkaido Powder Belt tour is an 10 day/9 night all inclusive tour through some of Central Hokkaido’s best ski resorts and backcountry areas. The locations for this trip will vary depending on conditions come winter, but the general flow will be as follows: powder, onsen, dinner, repeat. This tour bases guests out of Asahikawa for 3 nights to dive into the beauty of the northern end of Central Hokkaido, followed by 6 nights in Furano town, the true heart of skiing in Central Hokkaido. All tours meet Asahikawa or Furano.

Tour Tips

Tip # 1: We require you to have touring gear for this tour. This way you can use the same equipment for either on or off piste skiing.

Tip # 2: Book flights that will arrive in Chitose or Asahikawa airport by about midday on day one of your tour. For your departure day, don’t book a departure flight any earlier than about 3:00 pm.

Details: 10 days 9 nights. Ski resorts include: Furano, Kamui, Asahi Dake, Kuro Dake, Tomamu, Sahoro and backcountry areas such as Tokachi mountains and other local ski areas. All tours meet Asahikawa.
Includes: Experienced and qualified ski guide throughout; 9 nights accommodation; 8 Guided riding days; 1 rest/tourism day; arrival and departure dinner parties and all breakfasts; All Lift tickets; private minibus from day 1 to day 10; fully guided.
Not included: All items of a personal nature; ski gear (10% discount hire available for this tour); travel insurance (compulsory); lunches; dinners except where indicated; alcohol.
