The concept of the Road Trip is an old one but a good one. This Road Trip takes an experienced and dedicated splitboard guide and a group of splitboarders, and sets them loose in the amazing Central Hokkaido Snow. Transport is via private 4WD mini bus giving us complete autonomy.
A specialised tour for our single boarded friends, the Splitboard road trip is the best way for snowboarding enthusiasts to enjoy all that central Hokkaido has to offer. This tour spends 8 days/ 7 nights travelling from the city of Asahikawa, through to Furano town and then finally finishing in the beautiful and quiet Tomamu village. Along the way the group will be headed by one of our experienced splitboard guides, who will endeavour to show you the best splitboarding and snowboarding locations throughout central Hokkaido.

Tour Tips
Tip # 1: We recommend splitboards with skins for this tour. This way you can use the same kit for either on or off piste skiing, and if you are new to splitboarding and skins, you have the bonus of learning how to use this equipment. (skins, beacon, etc).
Tip # 2: Book flights that will arrive in Chitose or Asahikawa airport by about midday on day one of your tour. For your departure day, dont book a departure flight any earlier than about 1:00 pm.

Details: 8 days 7 nights. Ski resorts include: Furano, Kamui, Asahi-Dake, Kuro-Dake & Tomamu and back country areas such as Tokachi mountains and other local ski areas. All tours meet Asahikawa.
Includes: Experienced and qualified splitboard guide throughout; transfer back to either Asahikawa or Chitose airport at the end; 7 nights accommodation; arrival and departure dinner parties and all breakfasts; 4X Lift tickets; private minibus from day 1 to day 8; fully guided.
Not included: Airport transfer (unless otherwise discussed); All items of a personal nature; Lunch; mid-week dinners; ski gear (10% discount hire available for this tour); travel insurance (compulsory); alcohol.
